A delicious treat that combines two classic desserts into one. This cookie is soft, chewy, filled with semi-sweet chocolate chips, and sprinkled with sea-salt. The combination of the two desserts makes for a delicious treat that is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
What is a Marbled Cookie:
A marbled cookie is a type of cookie that is made by combining two different types of cookie dough together. The marbled effect is both beautiful and fairly simple to create. The cookie can be made with any type of cookie dough, for this recipe we are fusing two fan favorites: brownie and chocolate chip cookies.
My Definition of a Brownie:
A brownie is a rich, chocolatey, fudgy dessert that has a dense, chewy texture and a deep, chocolatey flavor. It's richer than a cake due to the significantly less flour it contains.
My Definition of a Cookie:
A chocolate chip cookie is a classic cookie that is made with butter, sugar, eggs, flour, and chocolate chips. It has a soft, chewy texture and a sweet, buttery flavor. The chocolate chips add a burst of sweetness and a rich, chocolatey flavor.
The Cookie I present to You Today:
This marble brownie and chocolate chip cookie is a combination of both of these desserts. It is made with a layer of brownie cookie dough and a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough. The two batters are swirled together to create a marbled effect. The cookie has a soft, chewy texture and a rich, chocolatey flavor.
My Inspiration Behind These:
Because why not! I am a huge sweets person, and if you are currently reading this you probably are one too. Sometimes I'll find myself craving booth a brownie and a cookie and am forced to pick one to make and eat. This results in me only satisfying only 50% of my cravings, and that will did not suffice. I fused two classic desserts into one for all those who feel the same pain of having to choose between the two.
LIFE IS SHORT! EAT WHAT YOU CRAVE! Atleast if you're making it from scratch you know the ingredients you are putting in to your body are pure!

Commonly Asked Questions:
Do these cookies require time in the fridge? No! What's so great about these cookies is that they can be baked right away. Most chocolate chip cookies require hours to even an overnight stay in the fridge. Allowing the dough to chill and rest is how that beautiful and deep chocolate chip cookie flavor develops. If you're like me and bakes once a craving strikes, that wait can be irritating. This recipe has the flavor you're craving without the wait!
Are these cookies freezable? Yes! After you scoop out your cookies and fuse them into marble balls, place them in a tightly sealed bag and store them in your freezer. These can last up to 4 months. To bake, let the dough balls defrost at room temperature and bake as instructed.
How long can the baked cookies be stored for? These cookies can last a couple of days, but it's safest to store them in the fridge after 3-5 days.
