Equipment:
  • French Press (a neat trick to making the perfect cold foam!)

Ingredients:
Base: (Matcha alternative listed at the bottom of the page!)
Black Sesame Foam:
  • 1 tbsp Black sesame paste***(You can also make your own, recipe listed below)

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Homemade Black Sesame Paste:
Directions:
  • Place your heavy cream in your french press. Whip your cream by pressing the french press up and down, until it becomes thick and creamy. Once whipped, add in your black sesame paste and mix until combined.

  • If making the black sesame paste from scratch, combine the roasted black sesame seed and honey in a food processor. Grind until smooth in texture. (*Note: this does take a bit of time, add more honey if the mixture seems too thick but be patient, a paste will form!)

  • Place your foam in the fridge to keep cool. In the meantime, combine 1 scoop of your protein powder and milk into a protein shaker bottle. Shake until well combined.

  • In a glass add your ice, protein shake, espresso, and lastly your foam. Enjoy!

Matcha Alternative:
Equipment:
Ingredients:

Sub black sesame paste for 1 tbsp matcha and 2 tbsp sugar

Directions:
  • Place your heavy cream in your french press. Whip your cream by pressing the french press up and down, until it becomes thick and creamy. Once whipped, sift in your matcha and sugar and mix until combined. (**Make sure to sift in your matcha to avoid clumps)

  • Place your foam in the fridge to keep cool. In the meantime, combine 1 scoop of your protein powder and milk into a protein shaker bottle. Shake until well combined.

  • In a glass add your ice, protein shake, espresso, and lastly your foam. Enjoy!
